At some point in time, you may wish to cut a section through your model. For that, you can use our Clip feature and apply either a single clip plane in any direction or a clip box (up to 6 clip planes).
Single Clip Plane
You can activate a single clip plane from the features panel. Click on the Clip feature, then Start Single Clip. A single clip plane will appear at the top of your model. There are 4 main features available for further interaction:
Arrows. For dragging the clip plane Up or Down
Flip button. To flip the direction of a clip plane
Delete button. Press on the X button to delete the clip plane
Orientation button. Click on the button to activate it, then select any model face to update clip orientation.
Clip Box
Clip Box acts the same way as a single clip but offers you six clip planes (section box) to begin. You can delete individual or all clip planes and change their orientation. You can activate a clip box from the features panel. Click on the Clip feature, then Start Box Clip.
