Create minimum distance measurements

Change length name

Change length colour

Remove lengths

Expand/Collapse lengths list

Click on the Measurements icon (Measurements Card will appear)

Click on the Minimal Distance icon to activate (orange) the feature
​Click on it again to deactivate it (grey)

Select your first and second objects to locate the minimum distance between them. This initiates the length calculation. Selecting objects highlights them in the default selection style (yellow & transparent)

The measurement point is grey and doesn't change colour on hover

You can spin around the model whilst measuring the minimum distance
​Use the Dismiss button to stop the calculation

The measurement line is fixed with a measurement banner after calculation

Every Minimum Distance measurement appears in the Measurements card with the relevant distance displayed in the model or federation units. The selected total instantly updates based on the added or removed length

In the Measurements card, hover over the length name and click on the pen icon

Rename the length in the text editor and click on the Save icon

Click on the X button if you wish to cancel the renaming operation

By default, all Minimum Distance measurements have a dark blue colour

Click on the paint drop-down next to the length you wish to recolour

Choose a colour from the palette or enter a HEX colour code

Click on the green Save button
​A new colour will apply to the measurement in the model

Click on the X icon next to each Minimum Distance measurement to individually delete it from the Measurements card

Or click on small X in the measurements banner to delete the length directly in the model

Click on the arrow icon button to expand and collapse the list of Minimum Distance measurement lengths created. This option is particularly useful when dealing with a large list of measurements
